My morning usually starts with a cup of rooibos red or green tea while I sit in my rocking chair taking in the view out our sliding glass doors. Most morning I can count on the pelicans to be soaring through the sky over our canal searching for the perfect fish for their breakfast – I enjoy watching as they spy the best fish and start a spiral decline with a big splash landing into the water. Some days like this morning – when the canal is full of fish other bird friends join them in their breakfast feast! Just filling our canal with peaceful floating birds and the sky with soaring birds – what a peaceful way to start my day. How to you start your morning – with a lovely view??

Here is a few nice sites about Laura’s real life — not the T.V. Show. This site Has information about Laura’s family, the books she wrote, friends mentioned the book,s the museums and home sites. I thought I had been to all of the home sites and museums even Almanzo Wilder’s home/museum in NY, until I looked at this site, I have missed the one right here in Florida – might need to take care of that. I do agree with Laura Florida is to humid ( except for maybe about three months out of the year). 😉
Here is a site that has some fun recipes and some more information on the Little House sites, music from the books ,Little house activities & crafts, Material for homeschooling. and even the T.V. series
