Brrr- It’s Winter in Florida

It’s been a little chilly in Florida the past few days – so it’s a good time to make some soup- I believe anytime is a good time for a nice bowl of soup ūüėČ

Irish Celebrations

Being Irish, I find the best way to start March is with a comforting bowl of  Potato Vegetable soup, a good book about Ireland and knitting of a baby hat Рof course!!.

Flip Flops and socks
¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†Florida winter foot wear = ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†What else but Socks and flip-flops¬†and the sock must match the flip-flops or at least coordinate. Okay – I may be seen donning these around the house — But not out an about anywhere, not even Walmart – if I were to ever go there!

Birkenstocks and Socks

Now Birkenstocks and socks (especially Maggie’s organic cotton socks,Thank you Dan) are “good to go” just about anywhere, but especially when shopping at Sunseed (our local Health food store).

Irish Blessing
To start off March, the month I celebrate my Irish heritage – An Irish Blessing from me to you!!
